University of Birmingham 12th Annual Road Race

It’s time to start preparing for the 12th University of Birmingham Annual 5km Road Race and 2km Fun Run.

This year’s date has been fixed for Sunday, October 19, and proceeds will again be going to the Acorns Children’s Hospice, Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Last year around 600 runners took part in the race and fun run, but the aim is to welcome even more competitors this time.

The event raised a magnificent £5,000 in 2007, and well over £50,000 has been raised since its inception to help with the hospice’s invaluable work.
